to wait for better technology

hype. Very few people and my potential customers are not
actually using the Internet (and those who do are just a bunch
of computer nerds).
But: The Net has millions of users and is growing at an
estimated two million new users a month. Statistics show that
the demographics of the average Internet user is young (age 18
to 44), educated and professional, with a high earning
capacity.

too much potential for consumer fraud. But: There
is more risk in giving your credit card to a salesman in a store

expensive. I already rely on traditional advertising.
